About our CAC
Currently, we have two members and, in the future, we look to include those with Parkinson’s, care partners, health professionals, therapists (Physical Therapists., Occupational Therapists, speech therapists), and more.
Our “Why?”
The programs are increasing but awareness needs to increase especially with the general population. When people get diagnosed, they need to be made aware of the things in our community which may be beneficial.
Our Healthy Parkinson’s Community Vision
Our community aims to have information about Parkinson’s resources available not only for those with Parkinson’s, but also to the general population. We are looking to engage providers by forming a pilot provider clinic. Our connection to the Davis Phinney Foundation has brought encouragement to build awareness in our communities and share resources.
