Where we live and serve
The Zanesville community action committee is in Ohio and extends to surrounding counties.
About our CAC
Currently, our community consists of people with Parkinson’s focused on learning and preparing for impact as well as expanded network connections in the area.
Our “Why?”
Current barriers include a lack of awareness and lack of education available for the public, care partners, families, and those diagnosed. Additionally, the lack of diversity in participation in services and advocacy does not reflect the greater community.
Our Healthy Parkinson’s Community Vision
I believe that our community could be more aware and educated about Parkinson’s. Many people truly have no idea of what symptoms may come along with Parkinson’s and how to live life with it.
Collaboration with the Davis Phinney Foundation will support education within the community action committee to set goals and aim for impact.
